Sample Food Festival is always a fun day out for foodies of all ages and this year we have turned up the heat on our programming to offer even more fun experiences for kids attending the festival with our Little Foodie Adventures at Sample Food Festival 2024. KIDS COOKING CLASSES
Introducing Kids Cooking Classes at Sample Food Festival 2024! Let your little ones roll up their sleeves and learn the art of crafting delicious gnocchi from scratch. Under the guidance of local chef Jedd Rifai of the North Byron Hotel, they’ll mix, shape, and cook their very own lunch. Plus, each participant will receive a refreshing drink, and delectable dessert to round out their meal. Read more about Sample Food Festival 2024 tickets on sale here
BYRON BAY WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary will be entertaining the kids at Sample Food Festival 2024 as part of the Little Foodie Adventures program with some of their amazing wildlife. Learn more about reptiles and explore what The Sanctuary has on offer this Spring and Summer season. For a gold coin donation children can enjoy a close up encounter and photo with a reptile.
KIDS CREATIVE PASSES
With a Kids Creative Pass your little ones can enjoy a safe and fun space within the festival grounds to get involved in collaborative art and craft projects, sensory play, active games, take-home crafts and more! This dedicated kids area is great for ages 3 – 12 and open from 9:30am – 3:30pm at the Sample Food Festival. Please note entry for children under 16 is free and Kids Creative Passes can be purchased for $10.
GET ACTIVE WITH THE RAINBOW ROOS
The Rainbow Roos is an experienced local community-based organisation dedicated to creating a safe and positive soccer environment. We are thrilled that they are coming to Sample Food Festival this year to offer a mix of freestyle open play and organised skills sessions and everyone is welcome! Whether you are two or ninety-two, grab a ball and let’s play! This activity is part of our Little Foodies Adventure program and will be free with your Sample Food Festival entry ticket; $5 for adults +BF or free for children under 16!
