Since our debut festival in 2011, farmers, producers, artisans and a whole range of creative individuals from all corners of the region have come together to share their wares, their passion and their knowledge. Many of our stalls offer free ‘samples’ or testers of their products (we are called Sample after all!) Take some time to enjoy the offerings from our market stalls at the festival (see full list on map below) you might even find Dad the perfect Father’s Day gift!

Winding Road Distilling Co.
Winding Road Distilling Co. are returning to the festival this Saturday off the back of another coveted award win at the Australian Distilled Spirit Awards for Best Rum!!! Made from locally grown, fresh pressed sugar cane juice (rather than molasses like 98% of the world’s rums) their rum is a true representation of the Northern Rivers!
Winding Road Distilling Co. will be showcasing their award-winning Coastal Cane Pure Single rum in a cocktail masterclass, 11:30am on the Sample Food Festival cooking stage with the Maple Rum Old Fashioned (YUM!) as well as showing you how to make a Passionfruit Mojito and Elderflower and Rose Gin Fizz!
You can also drop by their stall (#6 in the Sample bar area) for an Apple Pie Cocktail, Passionfruit Mojito or Elderflower and Rose Gin Fizz featuring their hand-crafted spirits or pick up Dad an early Father’s day gift!

Keep the good times going with The Bangalow Bowlo’s Sample Food Festival After Party! Enjoy Live Music, drinks and food from 4pm onwards. When exiting the festival turn left out of Market Street. The Bowlo always provides a fun, relaxed and family friendly atmosphere, the perfect way to end your big foodie day out!
