Granite Belt Cider Co sources apples from the Queensland border’s cool, high country to make its Treehouse Apple Cider. They pride themselves on supporting our local farmers by using 100% Australian grown apples. And because they care as much about what doesn’t go in their cider as much as what does, they choose not to add sugar or concentrates to their cider. This means the final product tastes just like real, Granite Belt apples!

We are thrilled to have Granite Belt Cider Co as our exclusive cider partner for Sample 2019, you will be able to try their Treehouse Cider at the Sample 2019 Lunch on Friday 6th September 2019 at the A&I Hall – SOLD OUT – and at the ninth annual Sample Food Festival on Saturday 7th September 2019 at the Bangalow Showground.

For thousands of years people have been drinking Kombucha to promote gut health, aid digestion and liver function – or simply to alleviate a guilty conscience.

The Bucha is a sparkling, raw, fermented drink, brimming with probiotics and enzymes. Using the finest locally sourced ingredients and brewed right in Byron Bay in friendship with Stone & Wood.

More recently, they’ve launched an alcoholic range, Dirty Bucha, using their Bucha classics, blending them with premium spirits, because life’s all about balance, right!?

We welcome The Bucha of Byron and Dirty Bucha as our exclusive kombucha partner for Sample Food Festival 2019

Another sponsor we are proud to have on board this year is Lord Byron Distillery – a small family owned Australian distillery in Byron Bay. They are passionate about using local ingredients and artisan distilling methods to make drinks that are naturally better. All of their drinks are free from added artificial flavours, colours and preservative. Because they believe you deserve to know where your drinks come from and how they’re made. Lord Byron Distillery will have five drinks on offer at Sample Food Festival to showcase their awesome range…

Warm cocktails
Mulled Gin // Sexy Vodka Chai
Cool Drinks
Byron Dark and Stormy // Gin and Tonic // Vodka Pink Mist
Lord Byron Distillery make everything on site at their distillery located at unit 7, 4 Banksia Drive, Byron Arts and Industrial Park. Their cellar door is open Tuesday to Saturday 12-5. Check them out at Sample Food Festival 2019 or via their website below.
