Join renowned wild food researcher Peter Hardwick for a unique one hour foraging walk around Bangalow exploring the unusual foods that grow around us. Discover new foods and how they can be used, including the edible weeds. Peter’s workshops sell quickly due to his depth of experience on wild foods and having worked with many chefs and hatted restaurants. This not to be missed Sample Food Festival wild food foraging masterclass will be held at 11:30am on Saturday 7th September 2024.  Please note only Sample Food Festival 2024 ticket holders can join this workshop.

KIDS COOKING CLASSES

Introducing Kids Cooking Classes at Sample Food Festival 2024! Let your little ones roll up their sleeves and learn the art of crafting delicious gnocchi from scratch. Under the guidance of local chef Jedd Rifai of the North Byron Hotel, they’ll mix, shape, and cook their very own lunch. KIDS CREATIVE PASSES

With a Kids Creative Pass your little ones can enjoy a safe and fun space within the festival grounds to get involved in collaborative art and craft projects, sensory play, active games, take-home crafts and more! This dedicated kids area is great for ages 3 – 12 and open from 9:30am – 3:30pm at the Sample Food Festival. Please note entry for children under 16 is free and Kids Creative Passes can be purchased for $10.
