It’s time to announce the four spectacular chefs attending this year’s Fab Ladies Wine Soiree, who will be preparing your five-course menu, paired with eight matching ArtWine wines!
The wonderful Luca Ciano, Heidi.Flora and Alexandra Jones will be joining Barrio’s Francisco Smoje for this evening of great food, wine, discussion and giveaways on Thursday 5th September 2019 at Barrio, Byron Bay.

FRANCISCO SMOJE
Barrio’s own head chef, Francisco Smoje is known for his Argentinian influenced, ethically focused food.
Now an integral part of the food community around Byron Bay, his key philosophy is knowing your food provenance and he spends time getting to know local growers, producers and farmers – many of whom he now calls friends.
Because, for Francisco, cooking is even more satisfying when you know who has grown your food and what farm it comes from.
LUCA CIANO
Luca Ciano was born and raised in Milan and his 20+ career includes working at the famous two Michelin Star restaurant, Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia in Milan.
Luca is passionate about regional Italian gastronomy and showcasing the diversity of Italian cuisine.
He currently consults to restaurants, magazines and Italian brands around the world. He also has his own Italian inspired food range.
HEIDI.FLORA
Heidi.Flora is a wholefoods plant based chef who specialises in desserts and cakes.
Her passion lies in producing food that is organic, pesticide free or biodynamic and also using ingredients with no added preservatives, additives or colours.
She completed four levels of culinary training at the famed PlantLab in New York – and even earned a role as an instructor at the pop-up PlantLab school in Sydney upon her return – before moving to Byron to start her business ‘Heidi.Flora’.
Heidi spends most of her weeks creating beautiful custom cakes and treats for special occasions!
ALEXANDRA JONES
Alexandra Jones is a wholefoods plant based chef originally from Canberra, ACT. Currently living in Sydney.
Alex has worked in the hospitality industry since she was 14 years old. Together with her immense passion for food and art and all aspects of women’s health and wellbeing has created The Garden of She – a platform to connect through conversation where she also specialises in pop up events collaborating with inspiring women.
Alex will be collaborating on the dessert with Heidi.Flora for this special event.
